Plain-language terms for using Yearkeep as your family’s early-years workspace. You own what you add. Use it for your family. Export or delete at any time.
Yearkeep is software your family uses to plan days, capture what happened, review together, and keep a portfolio. By creating or joining a family you agree to use it for that purpose under these terms. They are written in plain language and will be replaced by a formal agreement before billing starts.
Your family’s data#
You own the content you add. You decide who you invite and what each role can see. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share. Photos and quotes you or your helper capture stay inside your private family space unless you export them or share a highlight link.
Children#
Only parents and trusted adults manage accounts and invites. The child does not have an account. A picture board for Plan-Do-Review may be used by a child together with a parent; it does not collect anything beyond what the parent chooses to save.
Helpers and viewers#
A helper you invite is a user in her own right. She owns her entries for 24 hours and may edit them. Yearkeep does not provide location tracking, video, or monitoring of helpers, and you agree not to use the service to surveil an adult. Viewers see highlight pages through links that expire.
Acceptable use#
No scraping, resale, or attempts to access other families’ data. No use of the service to harass, spam, or run unrelated commercial activity. No uploading of content that is unlawful where you live.
Early access and price#
Yearkeep is currently free during early access. When a paid plan starts, you will be told at least 30 days in advance and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement. Helper and viewer seats will not be charged separately.
Availability#
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Capture works offline and syncs when connectivity returns. We may change or remove features; we will not remove your ability to export.
Ending use#
You may export your data or delete your family from Settings at any time. We may suspend access for abuse or where the law requires it, and will tell you why where we can.
