FAQ

Why is it free right now?

Billing is not built yet. Rather than charge through a workaround, we let families use the full product and will give 30 days’ notice before the plan starts.

Will extra adults ever cost extra?

No. The whole point is that everyone who helps raise the child is on the plan. Charging per grandparent, relative, or helper would work against the product. Every adult in the family is included.

What about a second child?

The data model supports more than one child; the interface shows a child switcher when a family has two. A Family+ tier is planned for that, with two day plans in one workspace.

Is there a free tier for photo sharing only?

No. Yearkeep is not a photo album. If you only want to share photos with grandparents, a family album app is a better fit.

Can I export my data and leave?

Yes, at any time: JSON, CSV, and PDF exports from Settings, and a family delete with a seven-day grace period you can cancel.

Do you sell to schools or agencies?

No. Yearkeep is sold to families. Nobody outside the family gets an account or sees its data.

Create the family. Invite the people who help. Run one Sunday.

Setup takes about thirty minutes: child, languages, schedule, first eight trays, invites. The first Sunday review is where it pays back.
