Create a family

Create a Yearkeep family on the product app, confirm email, and become the owner.

You will finish this path as the owner of a family tenant. Signup happens on the product app (yearkeep.app), not on this public site.

Before you start

You need an email you can open on this device. If you already have a family, stop and sign in instead.

Steps

  1. Open Create your family. The link leaves this site and opens the product app.
  2. Enter your email. The app sends a magic link.
  3. Open the link. You are the owner.
  4. Name the family and the child.
  5. Set a first language plan — who speaks what, at home.
  6. Invite the other adult. Prefer the helper if someone else runs the morning.

You can set a password later in Settings › Account.

You are done when

You can open Today on the product app and you see an empty or templated day, not a signup form.

Local development

In local development the product app is on port 5173 or 5174. Mailpit shows the magic-link email at http://localhost:8025.
