How-to guides
Move a mastery ladder marker
Parents move a marker with one tap on Progress › Ladders. A child's move from her board waits for a parent to confirm. Every move is kept in history.

Goal: the ladder reflects where she is. Parents only.
Move a marker#
- Go to Progress › Ladders. Fifteen ladders scroll horizontally, each with five rungs from easiest to hardest.
- Tap the rung she has reached. The move is saved with your name and the date.
Every move is also written as a portfolio entry, so it appears in the feed under Ladder moves.
Confirm a child's move#
When the child moves her own marker on her board, a banner reads "Moved Climbing to rung 3 (…)". Tap Confirm or Not yet.
Suggestions#
Under Suggested next-rung activities, each line names a ladder, the next rung, and activities that practise it. Tap one to open it in the library.
During the monthly review#
Step 3, Ladder moves, asks you to pick up to two ladders to focus on next month.
