Day-to-day mode and the Me page
What a Day-to-day adult sees: the four tabs, the restricted areas, the Me page cards, device settings, and the four-week onboarding checklist.
A grandparent, relative, friend, or helper who runs part of the day is given the Day-to-day role. The app shows them a simplified view built for a phone in one hand: larger type, bigger targets, four tabs, and nothing they do not need.

More shows only Library and Notifications. The Library shows Playbook, Books, and Activities; in the library, a Day-to-day adult can log a read, run We did this on an activity, and read the shelf, but not change it.
Restricted areas show "Not available. This area is for parents. Helper mode shows Today, Capture, Playbook and Me." (the app's own wording for this role). The one review page they can open is the weekly summary.

Text size, low-data, and voice are saved on the device. A parent who ticks Simple phone on the invite starts them on.
The four-week onboarding checklist#
