How-to guides
Export the yearbook, a month page, or a printable
Queue a PDF from Portfolio, from the birthday review, or from Settings › Export. Yearbooks come in A4 or A5 with bilingual captions. Download from Past exports.

Goal: a file you can print or keep. Parents (Day-to-day adults: playbook and printables).
Yearbook#
- Go to Portfolio › Yearbook. The bar shows how many of twelve month pages are ready.
- Choose A4 or A5 and tap Preview PDF.
- Or run the birthday review; step 4 generates the yearbook.
Month page#
Open Portfolio › Month pages, curate the month, and tap PDF.
Printables and playbook cards#
- Library › Materials & shelf › Printables: tap PDF on any of the twenty sheets. They render on A4 with the child's name and the on-duty adult's language where the sheet supports it.
- Library › Playbook: tap Print on a protocol.
Everything from one place#
Settings › Export lists every kind: JSON (all data), CSV (logs), Portfolio PDF for a month, Yearbook PDF for a year, Playbook item PDF, Printable PDF, Book prompts PDF, and Evidence PDF for a red-flag check. Past exports shows status and a Download button; downloads are signed links valid for five minutes, so download again from here if one expires.
FAQ
Why is my export still queued?
PDFs are rendered in the background by a headless browser. Most finish within a minute. The page polls and shows Download when ready.
Can a Day-to-day adult export?
Day-to-day adults can export playbook items and printables, which they need for the fridge. Family-wide exports are parents only.
