Curate your first month page

By the end of this tutorial you will have one curated month page and a PDF of it. It assumes a few weeks of photos and quotes. Parents only.

1. Open the portfolio#

Go to Portfolio. On a phone it is under More. The feed shows everything marked for the portfolio: photos, quotes, Plan-Do-Review entries, ladder moves, reviews, and closed projects. Use the chips to filter.

2. Star what matters#

Tap any card to open it. Tap ☆ Star to mark it. Starred quotes and photos are what the month page offers you. On the Language page you can also star quotes from the She said timeline.

3. Open the month page#

Tap Month pages. The current month opens with the chip auto-generated · curate. It already has a photo grid, a She said section, a Drawing of the month tile, and a This month she… list.

4. Curate#

  1. Tap Curate.
  2. Tick up to eight photos and three quotes.
  3. Tap Save curation.

Then tap Choose a drawing or photo to set the drawing of the month, and edit the This month she… lines.

5. Export the PDF#

Tap PDF. The page is queued for export with bilingual captions on A4. When the toast says it is ready, download it from Settings › Export › Past exports.

6. Check the yearbook#

Tap Yearbook. The progress bar shows how many of 12 month pages are ready. Each ready month gets a card; missing months are marked. At the birthday, this is what becomes the book.

You are done when#

The month page shows the chip without "curate", and Past exports lists a portfolio month PDF marked done.
