Log a book read and get reading prompts

Goal: a reading log per language and prompts to read dialogically. Reading logs: any adult. Adding books and generating prompts: parents (prompts also Day-to-day adults when allowed).

Log a read#

• From Today: tap Done on a book block and answer Which book?.
• From Library › Books & songs: tap Log read on the book. It records a ten-minute read and bumps the count.

Add a book#

1. Tap From catalog to search the shared catalogue by title or author and Add it, or tap Add book to type Title, Language, Author, and Location ("Nook · top row").
2. Star a favourite from its row.

Books are grouped by language: Dhivehi, English, Malay, Indonesian, and Chinese.

Generate prompts#

1. Tap Prompts on a book.
2. Optional, parents only: add a Photo of a page and tick the consent box so the coach can use it for this request only.
3. Tap generate. Eight prompts appear in your interface language, with the child's language noted.
4. Save to book to keep them, or Print to export a PDF.

Prompts also appear as Prompt cards on the book block on Today.

Songs and stories#

• Songs of the month lists the active songs per language. Parents can Add song or Rotate 3 now instead of waiting for the monthly rotation.
• Grandparents' stories lists recordings sent through a highlight link. Any adult except a viewer can Record a story here too.
