Add a photo
Take or choose one or more photos, add a one-line caption, and save. Photos are tagged with the current block and land in the portfolio.
Goal: save a photo of the work. Any adult.
Steps#
- Tap Photo on the current block card, or tap + then Photo.
- Take or choose a photo. You can select several.
- Under each photo, answer What was she doing? in one line if you like.
- Save. The toast offers Undo for eight seconds.
Low-data mode#
If Low-data images is on (Me › Settings), a small version uploads now and the full size waits for Wi-Fi. The Me page shows how many full-size photos are waiting, with Upload now.
Where photos appear#
- On the block card and in the day's timeline.
- In Portfolio under the Photos filter; parents can star them for the month page.
- On a project's Media timeline when tagged with the project.
- On the shelf board as a tray photo, if you use Update tray photo on a slot.
Other places you can add a photo#
- Flag for parents accepts a photo with the concern.
- Trip journal entries.
- The child board and the daily review accept a photo of a drawing.
FAQ
Where do photos go?
To the entry for the current block and to the portfolio feed. They are stored in your family's private space, re-encoded to remove location data, and never shared unless you export or create a highlight link.
Can I add several at once?
Yes. Choose several photos in one save; each gets a caption field. Undo removes the whole batch.
