Capture kinds
The eight capture kinds, their fields, who can use them, what they store, and where undo applies.
The + button on every screen opens the capture sheet with the current block pre-filled. Every entry stores the author, the time, the block, and the language heard.

Other capture points#
- Log read on a book (ten-minute read).
- We did this on an activity page (Day-to-day adults), which opens Photo.
- Visited today on a place.
- Rate today's session on a class.
- Record a story in Books & songs, or through a highlight link.
- Save our review on Her board (a child Plan-Do-Review entry).
- Trip Journal entry and Last-night review.
Editing#
Day-to-day adults can edit their own free-text entries for 24 hours from the Me page. Parents can always edit. Every edit keeps a history that parents can view.
Undo#
The toast after a capture offers Undo for eight seconds. Undo on an entry that has already synced becomes a soft delete.
Voice#
With Voice-to-text switched on (Me › Settings), a Voice input button appears on text fields and the sheet says "Long-press any button for voice-to-text". Needs internet.
