Subscribe by calendar feed or connect Google Calendar

Goal: classes, playdates, and trips in the calendar app you already use. Parents only.

Calendar feed (works everywhere)#

1. Go to Outside › Places and find the Calendar sync card.
2. Tap Create ICS URL, then Copy URL.
3. In Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook, add a calendar by URL and paste it.

The feed lists classes, playdates, and trips for a year and refreshes on the calendar app's schedule. The URL is a private token; treat it like a password and create a new one if it leaks.

Google Calendar (when configured)#

1. On the same card, tap Connect. Sign in with Google and allow calendar access.
2. The status shows Google Calendar connected. From then on, kept classes push as weekly events, playdates as 90-minute events, and trips as multi-day events.
3. Every fifteen minutes the app pulls changes back: a deleted or moved event updates the app and notifies the parents. Events created in Google appear as read-only busy blocks on the week.

Tap Disconnect on the same card to stop. Tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted when the family is deleted.
