Edit the schedule template and change one day

Goal: change the usual rhythm, or change one day. Parents only.

Change the template#

  1. Go to Settings › Schedule template.
  2. Choose the Weekday or Weekend tab.
  3. For each block set Time (start), Block name, Owner, Lang (Dhivehi, English, Malay, Owner language, or Mixed), and tick Core if it should stay on the plan.
  4. Tap Block to add a block, or the ✕ to remove one.
  5. Set Effective from. Today replaces today's usual blocks; a future date leaves today as it is.
  6. Tap Save as new version.

Version history on the same page lists each version with its date and block count.

Shift the whole day#

During setup the Wake, Nap, and Bed anchors move the blocks in their segment together. Moving wake does not drag the afternoon.

Change one day only#

  1. Go to Plan › Week and tap a block.
  2. In Edit block, change the owner, language, or core flag.
  3. Tap Save for this day to override only that day, Save to template to change the template from a date, or Remove for this day.

Classes#

Classes are not template blocks. Add them in Outside › Classes; they appear on the week and on Today automatically.

FAQ

Will editing the template rewrite past days?

No. Every save creates a new version effective from a date. Past days keep the version that was in force then.

What does Core mean?

A core block stays on the plan even when the day is shuffled, counts toward the dashboard, and triggers a parent nudge if it is not logged by 14:00.
