Set your language, text size, and low-data mode

Goal: make the app readable for the adult holding the phone.

Interface language#

1. Tap Me (Day-to-day adults) or Settings › Account (parents).
2. Under Language or App language, pick one of the 19 languages. The change is immediate and is saved to your membership, so it follows you to another device.

Buttons, labels, and messages change. Activity scripts fall back to English when a translation is not ready, and show an EN tag.

Text size, low-data images, voice-to-text#

On the Me page under Settings:

• Text size: normal or large.
• Low-data images: a small photo uploads now; the full size waits for Wi-Fi at night, or tap Upload now under pending uploads.
• Voice-to-text: adds a Voice input button on text fields. Needs internet.

These three are saved on the device, not the account. When a parent creates a Day-to-day invite with Simple phone ticked, they start on for that device.

For parents setting someone up#

Create the invite with Simple phone ticked (see Invite an adult). The person picks their own language on the first screen after tapping the link.
