Flag a concern for the parents, and resolve it
Any adult can send a concern with a photo. Parents are notified now, mark it seen, resolve it with a note, and can thank the person who raised it.

Goal: tell the parents about something now, and close it later. Raising: any adult. Resolving: parents.
Raise a concern#
- Tap +, then Flag for parents.
- The banner says Parents will be notified now.
- Under What happened?, write one line, for example "she fell and cut her lip a little".
- Add a photo if it helps.
- Tap Flag for parents. Undo is available for eight seconds.
Parents get an in-app notification and, by default, a push notification and an email.
See and resolve it (parents)#
- On Today, open concerns are listed at the top with Concern, the author, and the time.
- Tap Mark seen & resolve. Add a note if you like.
- Tap Thanks, Kak! to send a thank-you reaction to the person who raised it.
The adult who flagged it sees Seen and the thanks on their entry, and their Me page counts thanks received.
Where concerns live afterwards#
In the day's timeline and in the author's My recent entries on their Me page, where they can edit the text for 24 hours. Resolved concerns keep their note.
FAQ
Who sees a concern?
The parents (owner and admin) and the adult who raised it. It is never on a feed and never in a highlight link.
Is a concern the same as a red flag?
No. A concern is something an adult noticed today, such as a fall. Red flags are calm monthly checks on Progress › Milestones.
