How-to guides
Use auto-plan
Auto-plan proposes two or three tray swaps for next week with a reason for each, plus a drafted coaching point.

Goal: next week's invitations in two taps. Parents only.
From Plan#
- Go to Plan › Week and tap Auto-plan.
- The sheet Auto-plan next week lists each swap as "Tray 3: posting box → float and sink" with a Why.
- Untick any swap you do not want.
- Tap Accept & fill to place the accepted swaps and invitations, or Edit by hand to open the week.
From the Sunday review#
Step 4, Invitations, requests the same proposal and offers Accept all. See Run your first Sunday review.
What is in a proposal#
- Two or three tray swaps, each with the reason: ignored for N days, an under-served domain, or an interest signal.
- Invitations for the work-cycle slots.
- A drafted coaching point for the adult on duty.
- Balance notes.
A proposal is cached per week, so opening it twice gives the same answer. Accepting is safe to repeat.
Afterwards#
The shelf board shows the new trays. The Rotation history on the shelf board records each swap.
FAQ
How does it choose?
A tray ignored for 14 days or more comes off. Replacements come from activities for the child's age band in the two domains with the fewest minutes this week. One extra swap follows an interest she showed strongly in the last two weeks.
Does it use AI?
The swaps are rule-based. The coaching point draft uses the AI coach if weekly suggestions are switched on; otherwise it uses fixed text.
