Heritage languages
A language with no street needs adult hours at home. The app cannot speak it for you.
A child who hears a language for a small share of the week will not speak it. The plan is hours, not a lesson list.
If Dhivehi — or another heritage language — has no school and no street, it must be over-weighted at home. Both parents using it at home is the mechanism. The helper’s UI language is separate from the child-facing language on a block.
Four languages at two means each is thin. Over-weight the one with no street.
The app tracks the budget. It does not teach the child. Talk, read, and sing. Log the quotes.
Screens do not count as language input unless a familiar adult is in a live call with the child.
