Keep the shelf short
- Open Library › Materials.
- Keep a short “on shelf now” board — about eight slots.
- Rotate two or three trays a week.
- If the child ignores a tray twice, put it away.
The plan should follow interest, not guilt. Empty slots are part of the prepared environment.
